Downtown Apartments began its journey in 2018. Today it is the largest short-term rental operator in northern Poland and one of the largest in the entire country, and also the highest-rated company by guests among large operators.
The year 2025 brought dynamic growth — the portfolio grew by more than 300 apartments, and the culmination of this stage was obtaining Superhost status on Airbnb.
The first quarter of 2026 marks another important step in the company's development — we are launching apartment rentals in Spain, on the Costa del Sol, beginning the brand's international expansion.

Our standard
The operations of Downtown Apartments began in Gdańsk, quickly expanding across the whole Tricity, and then to the areas around the Hel Peninsula. Since early 2025 we have also been present in Kraków, and from the start of 2026 we have been expanding our operations in Warsaw and in Podhale. At the same time we remain open to additional locations across Poland.
We are also looking beyond the country’s borders — from March 2026 we plan to launch on the Costa del Sol in Spain, and further plans and dreams include Dubai and the French Riviera. This growth is not accidental — it is backed by a team with real experience, the energy to act, and the ambition to consistently build a strong brand also on international markets.

Experience and development
Today Downtown is a team of over 170 employees. It includes both specialists who have developed their skills with the company over the past few years and experienced professionals from the hotel industry and the real estate market. This combination of a fresh perspective and practical know‑how allows us to build a stable organization and effectively respond to the needs of owners and guests.
Downtown's team consists of specialists from many areas: sales and revenue, marketing, guest services and corporate client service. The organization is also supported by the finance and procurement departments, an expanded housekeeping team and maintenance staff, as well as several construction workers responsible for the ongoing refreshing of the apartments. Thanks to this, we carry out most processes in-house, maintaining full control over the quality and standard of service. The team is complemented by experienced real estate investment advisors who support owners at every stage of the project – from profitability analysis to choosing the cooperation model. We also work with interior design specialists, helping create functional and attractive spaces that genuinely increase rental potential.
